What you need to know about visiting our garden….

Jenny greets all her visitors and is always happy to talk gardens!

You will receive a map of the garden with details about our summer dry cultivation practices etc.

Open by appointment only:

9am - 5pm from 3 October to 15 April

We are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

We will open at other times for groups of 20 or more.

The garden takes about an hour depending on your level of interest.

Best time of year to visit:

All year! We have a lovely spring garden, but also gorgeous autumn colour and many late season perennials.

Parking:

Please park on the street, do not drive in.

There are three parks in the roundabout just opposite our gate. There is also plenty of parking after the garden entrance.

Tea and coffee:

Available free for groups of 15 or more, prior bookings essential. We can also organize morning or afternoon tea on request. There is a toilet available inside the house.

Seating:

There are plenty of seats for you to relax and enjoy the garden. Picnics welcome. We also have a covered pergola area in case of rain.

Dogs:

Dogs are welcome on a leash.
